If you are helping your kids prepare for the back to school season, this school bus coloring page and template by Melanie Hope Greenberg is just the thing for a little pretend play. Playing with a school bus, and our school house and pizza parlor coloring pages may also help relieve a little back to school anxiety by helping them get used to the idea of riding the bus to school everyday.
This school bus coloring page is the latest in our monthly coloring page series. All the coloring sheets are designed by children’s book illustrator, Melanie Hope Greenberg and many of them, like this one, double as a pretend play activity or other practical project, like the reading log and subway maze.

Instructions: (although you are so smart I bet you can figure it out)
- Print out template, preferably on card stock
- Color as desired
- Cut out school bus along exterior solid line
- Fold on dotted lines
- Assemble the bus by inserting the flaps behind the sides of the bus and secure with tape or glue. I prefer double-sided tape.
As you can see, my son thinks school buses should be blue and green. I think that is a wonderful idea.
