School and Pizza Parlor Template Coloring Page (Free Printable for Kids)

    • Facebook

Do your kids like to set up elaborate scenes with their blocks and toy cars? This month's free, printable coloring page from Melanie Hope Greenberg doubles as items to include in a neighborhood playscape. Cut out this cute school and pizza parlor, color and add to your child's pretend play.

My son loved making up stories as he parked an ice cream truck in front of the school. We'll have to print out the ice cream coloring page, next!

I'm not sure of the significance of the police cruiser in front of the pizza parlor. Maybe pizza is the new doughnut?

I love that he added in the little wooden traffic signs to his neighborhood play scene. My kids have gotten loads of use out of those signs over the years.

Your children will surely want to add to their neighborhood playscape with more of our printable templates for 3D creations:

    • Village shops coloring page templates
    • Gingerbread house coloring page template - includes finger puppets!
    • 3D bookmobile coloring page
    • School bus template

    What you need:

    • Pizza parlor and school house printable coloring page (it's free!)

    How to make the buildings:

After printing out the coloring page, color the buildings however you want. My son didn't even want to color them, and that's okay, too.

It is easier to color the buildings before cutting them out.

When your child has finished coloring, use the scissors to carefully cut out the building templates, being sure to keep the flaps attached.

Fold the building templates along the lines indicated on the printable. Press the creases firmly.

Stand the buildings upright. You may have to take a moment to find the best way to balance the buildings on the folded flaps, but we were able to do so without any trouble.

    Final step: Play, play, play!

Don't forget to print out and make the school bus!
