Winter Coloring Pages for Snowy Afternoons

    • Facebook

Winter is a time for spending cozy afternoons indoors while the snow falls and the lake freezes over. While your kids are waiting for the latest blizzard to pass so they get out to make a snowman or strap on their ice skates, print out these winter themed coloring pages and get out a box of colored pencils!

    Skating Coloring Page

Coloring page with illustration of children skating on pond in middle of snowy village.

This adorable ice skating coloring page was the first coloring page on our blog! It kicked off our partnership with children's book author and illustrator, Melanie Hope Green, who has created unique hand-drawn (no AI art here!) coloring pages with us for fifteen years and counting!

Find it here: Winter Skating Party Coloring Page

    Winter Bookmarks

Four winter themed bookmarks and a book with scissors.

After coloring these cute winter bookmarks, your kids will be inspired to pick up their favorite book and read until weather warms up.

Find it here: Winter Bookmarks Coloring Page

    Snow Globe

Snow globe coloring page next to scissors and colored pencils and glue stick, with photo inset of completed snow globe coloring page craft.

This snow globe coloring page doubles as a craft. After coloring, cut out the objects and apply them as desired. Or, draw your own scene inside the snow globe!

    Sledding

Sledding coloring page with scissors, crayons and glue on blue background

Can't get outside for some sledding? That's okay, you can sled vicariously with this cute bear trio. Turn the coloring page into a craft by cutting out the snowflakes to make individual stick puppets for a storytelling session.

Find it here: Sledding Coloring Page

    Penguins

    Rainbow penguins coloring page.

Do your kids know that a group of penguins is called a waddle? Now they do! They will love using their imaginations to think up stories about what this waddle of penguins is up to.
