Coloring pages are often touted as meditative devices and what better subject for kids to dwell on than peace? For our monthly coloring page series, Melanie Hope Greenberg inked this peace coloring page depicting a parade a diverse children and grown-ups. Melanie originally created this artwork in 2002 for the Southern Poverty Law Center, an organization that promotes social justice and civil rights in the United States. SPLC discovered Melanie's work through her work with the Children's Defense Fun and AFL-CIO, and published greeting cards and labels using Melanie's artwork.
