This month kid lit author illustrator Melanie Hope Greenberg offers readers of this blog another lovely coloring page to download and print out for your kids. There is something for everyone here: teepees, shooting stars, vehicles and a hot air balloon which is carrying a special passenger in honor of Thanksgiving.
To download and print the image, follow this link to the Coloring Page Bookmarks. If you print them out on card stock you will have four lovely bookmarks.
They would make fun Thanksgiving dinner party favors, don’t you think? Or print out several sheets to color while the grown-ups engage in a little family gossip (not that anyone ever gossips at Thanksgiving!).
Don’t forget! These coloring pages are only available online here at What Do We Do All Day? but if you live in New York City you can visit Melanie at the Hip Tot Festival in Brooklyn each month where she will be reading, autographing books and distributing coloring pages. This Sunday’s Hip Tot Festival is a fundraiser for the Hurricane Sandy relief effort so come on out!
