The Brooklyn Public Library, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is not a spectacular as its more famous cousin but I love that the Art Deco building was designed to look like an open book. If you are a fan of Mo Willem’s Knuffle Bunny Too, the scene in which the Knuffle Bunny families are racing toward each other was photographed from the top of this building.
The building (outside and inside) is covered in quotes. This is one of my favorites. The buildings you see are reflections in the glass of the plaza behind me.
