Sensory “Tub” for Babies

New Kid knocked the barley out of the freezer and it spilled all over the floor. Instead of cleaning it up, I just plopped him down to play with it. Don’t judge, it gave me enough time to pour myself a glass of water without actually holding a baby.

Ha! Once when Julia was about 9 months old I tried to put cornmeal in a tub with scoops and spoons for her to play with. She began putting fistfuls in her mouth. Uh…fail.

I might try this in a few months. I can't imagine being able to get a glass of water without a baby in my arms 🙂

Oo! here's something I was going to say. At 5 I'd make the child clean it up, but for a baby I'd put him down there too.
