Decorating the windows is a fun way to play indoors during the winter, especially when the weather just isn't cooperating.
While it was snowing outside, the kids and I made Wikki Stix rainbow snowflakes for inside. It's so simple and easy yet, quite satisfying for the kids and also gets those fine motor muscles working. They do leave a bit of residue when you remove them, but it cleaned up very easily with a little window spray. (Note: affiliate links below)
All you need are Wiki Sticks!
Alternatively, you can also make snowflake window clings.
You don't have to tell me, I know you're jealous of our view.

We are playing in the snow this week too or pretending anyways in central Texas. These Wikki Stick snowflakes are a GREAT idea. I love Wikki Sticks because one week they can be snowflakes and the next they can be dinosaurs. Stop by today we are reviewing Snowy Day. Good luck on this weeks book and card giveaway. 🙂 joyce

Totally just found your blog last week and LOVE that you have activities that are minimal prep but long lasting interest... exactly what I'm looking for rather than all those blogs that have admittedly adorable but labor intensive projects! Thank you for this great idea, it allowed me to fold all the laundry in peace today!

I am so happy to hear that, Sarah! That really is my goal, too - to help my kids entertain themselves!
