Last year we had a volunteer mini pumpkin vine in our community garden plot. We kept one of the pumpkins and it has survived since last August sitting on our shelf. A few days ago Kiddo announced that he wanted to throw it away since it was moldy. Actually it wasn't moldy, but I saw the opportunity to open it up with him to have a look inside. I wanted to save some seeds to plant this year.
I can't wait for Spring planting!
