Lately, New Kid has been telling me what color everything is so I thought it was high time I get my act together and plan a color sorting activity. Fortunately for me, I thought of something completely effortless. Choose a few pieces of colored construction paper, sit your kid in front of them and hand him an assortment of like colored objects. You could use anything you have on hand, and they don’t all have to match, either.
I used the skinny blocks from the boys’ Twig Blocks set. These blocks work well because there are 6 colors so I can keep adding to the mix.
