Christmas Tree and Toys Coloring Page (Plus Activity)

    • Facebook

Use this Christmas tree, toys and ornaments coloring page as a springboard for a fun Christmas arts and craft project!

This festive holiday coloring page from children's book author and illustrator, Melanie Hope Greenberg is so cute, and the detail makes it a great choice for older kids. Like all of our coloring pages, it's free! (Thank you, Melanie!)

Melanie originally created this Christmas tree and toys sketch for a holiday greeting card. Melanie has designed over 200 greeting cards! She got her start as a greeting card artist for UNICEF back in 1981.

    Coloring page art activity

If your kids just want to color the sheet, no problem. However, if you want to extend the fun, turn the coloring page into a Christmas tree craft.

Collage of photographs showing how coloring page craft progress, including drawing of a tree with cut outs of the toys being glued to the paper.

After coloring, cut out the rectangles of toys and ornaments. Then, cut a piece of green construction paper into a tree shape, or draw a tree on plain white paper like I did - no comments on my lack of artistic talent, please.

Glue the toys and ornaments onto the tree. Easy peasy!
