One of our advent activities was making apple candle holders, inspired by the book, Swedish Christmas Crafts.
Not much explanation is needed! All you do is carve out a bit of an apple, large enough to hold a candle. Easy peasy.
One tip: Make sure you find apples that sit flat!
These are, of course, perishable so if you plan on making them for an event, you'll only want to do so a day or two in advance.
