Hope that you’re all safe and well after Sandy came to visit. How scary, but also a fabulous opportunity for children to learn about our amazing, natural world.

That is incredible- it looks a lot like the aftermath of a tornado!
We had a tornado rip through our neighborhood a few years ago. But these photos are nothing compared to the destruction where there was flooding. We were very fortunate.
Those poor trees. I can’t believe the devastation this storm caused – especially where there is flooding!

It looks like you are safe. My parents are still without power. It’s hard to believe that it’s not a disaster movie.
It does seem a bit unreal. I hope they get their power back soon, but
I understand some places will be without it for at least another week.
