In the spring one of the neighborhood public schools puts on the ingenious PTA fundraiser “Touch-a-Truck,” a gathering of every kind of truck from trolleys to police cars to cement mixers. Kids get to touch them, climb on them, sit in them, and press all the buttons.
It is an incredibly popular event. They must raise a truck load of cash for the school.
