  1. My husband would quite possibly die (yes, die) without a television. Good for you! I would happily throw the thing out the window.

  2. we've been without a TV for about 10 years. It's great.

Now, if only I could cut back on my internet usage!

  3. My husband is with Christy's, or we wouldn't have one either. I NEVER had one growing up, and it is rarely on when Mike isn't home.

I can't say the same about the computer, though – although my kids don't get to use it much!

  4. Computer is TV of the future anyway… We have a nice 42″ accessory in our living room, and we do use it, but within reasonable limits.

  5. Good for you! I haven't quite been able to go that far. We did put ours in the basement though and don't have cable so it's pretty much PBS or videos for us.

  6. You are my hero.

  7. BTW–It's Jessica (from Only Small Things) who said you are my hero.

I'm apparently signed on as my husband, and freaking women out all over the internet.

    Nice.

  8. I would welcome the new found time to be more productive! Good for you.
